Taking Another Look At the Lab Leak Theory: Government

In this series, we will attempt to attend to this unending stream of questions constantly filling our minds as we reminisce on the possibility of a pandemic fought differently.

As the pandemic progressed, certain inconsistencies began to rear their heads. A number of persons across many fields began to raise questions. Something about the pandemic, its timing, the science, the unchalant attitude of the world’s superpowers gave reasons for concerns; especially for those who had the chance to take a closer keener look at the story the world has been told about the origin of the virus.

One of those people is Australian Journalist Sharri Markson whose probe into the issue has provided even more questions than the answers are able to capable of answering`/“`~

In her book, What Really Happened At Wuhan, Sharri takes a deep dive into many untold stories as she set the pieces apart and attempted to put them back together. By the time she was done, the puzzle looked a lot like the Wuhan Institute of Virology taking us down memory lane to a ‘what might have
happened past.

The Spy’s Concern
In November 2019, Chinese defector Wei Jing sheng visited Dimon Lui a human rights Activist in Washington. Dimon described Wei’s appearance that day as unusual and disturbing. In their conversation, Wei reveals that there had been rumors amongst the Chinese diaspora of the release of a Corona virus during the Military Games that held in China in 2019. He told Dimon that he had heard that the virus was already spreading in China as at early as October 2021 and that he needed help to
get the information to the right people.

He eventually did, or so he thought because nothing was done about it.

The Wuhan Institute of Virology
The Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) is a leading biological research institute located in Wuhan, China. They are quite popular in the scientific world for their work with Corona viruses on gain-offunction research, many of which were funded by NHI.

The world really began to hear about the institute at start of the pandemic as suspicions grew. However, recent evidence is raising even more questions about the shadiness of this laboratory. Some
of the evidences are:

1. On Sept. 12, 2019, the Institute took down or deleted its viral sequencing database. This large database included approximately 22,000 previously unreported bat and rodent viral samples
and genomes. Soon after this, reports began to surface of schools shutting down in Wuhan due to an increase in the number of sick kids.

2. On the same day, the Institute is said to have spent half a million dollars to tighten its security, install CCTV cameras and buy a new medical equipment.

3. There was a communications blackout on the Institutes ground with all the staff having to leave the facility for sterilization.

4. The Institute lied about harboring and conducting experiments on animals on its grounds.

Another reason for alarm is how the Chinese government covered up the pandemic for so long. For weeks into the outbreak of the virus, the Chinese government desensitized her citizens that the reason behind the spike in hospital admissions on account of respiratory disease was not because of Corona virus.

However, Chinese journalist Chen Qiushi began to uncover the story releasing videos of patients on oxygen tanks and how hospitals were getting overwhelmed pretty fast. All of a sudden, he disappeared, and was detained by the Chinese government in the name of being quarantined.

THE US GOVERNMENT.
Former, US Secretary of State and Trump appointee Mike Pompeo in an interview with Sharri states that there is, ‘enormous however indirect evidence that the Wuhan Institute of Virology is the center point for’ the virus.

The fear of a conspiracy theory is silenced a little more when we consider that when President Joe Biden took a look at the amount of evidence tabled before him, the same set of evidence that was set before former President Donald Trump, Biden authorizes that another set of investigations (which spanned a total of 90 days) be done to explore the possibility of a lab leak. This investigation came out inconclusive.

When asked about what he felt the intent could be is peradventure the virus was intentionally leaked, former President Donald Trump says he likes to believe that it was just ‘gross incompetence’.

But that does not seem enough.

When John Ratcliffe, former Director of US National Intelligence presented evidence that supported the fact that virus might have been engineered and intentionally or unintentionally lead by WIV to the Intelligence community, he was that the US Government might have had access to the same information he had from as December 2019. It makes you wonder, ‘why?’

As a cascade of several possibilities and the possibility of the involvement of the US government surfaces the need to answer this question is clear; are we dealing with an accident, the wrath of evolution or the Sinicism of the world’s superpowers.
