The ancients use the Chinese idiom “xiao ru fu gu” (效如桴鼓) to describe the effect of acupuncture, meaning that it has instant results like picking up a drumstick and hitting a drum.

This idiom is true. Due to the destruction of traditional culture by the Chinese Communist Party in the mainland, however, “xiao ru fu gu” (效如桴鼓) doctors are rare.

There are, however, a lot of causes for sickness and treatments are limited. No matter how skilled the doctor, and no matter how many people he or she has cured, there will always be some patients with no results.

So, maintaining health and preventing disease are the best ways to be healthy.

When people hear about healthcare, they probably think of supplements, tonics, etc.. But if the supplements are wrong, it will not only have no effect, but they will also be harmful.

People who truly know how to take care of their health, emphasize the importance of their morality.

There is an old saying: “Taking care of your health is just as important as taking care of your morality.” Only those with high moral standards who don’t fight with or hurt people, truly understand healthcare.
