So far the Trump administration has openly shown interest for some people to fill key positions within the administration, and many were pleasantly surprised.
Sen. Jeff Sessions for the position of Attorney General. Gov. Nikki Haley from South Carolina as the new United Nations representative. Meanwhile, Sen. Ted Cruz has met with Donald Trump in New York and many still remain optimistic that he might be selected in the nation’s Supreme Court justice.
The key position that has not yet been clearly defined is the Secretary of State. Among those who have joined the battle is former mayor of New York, Rudy Giuliani, who greatly supported Trump during election season, and presidential candidate in 2008 and 2012, Mitt Romeny, who repeatedly mentioned in a brutal way that Donald Trump is not fit to be president and attempted to recruit a third party opponent to him during the 2016 election season.
However, the real candidate who deserves to be fully supported is none of the above. But Rep. Dana Rohrabacher.
Just a day after Thanksgiving, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher posted on his Twitter profile that the Trump administration is considering him to occupy the position of Secretary of State.
The tweet linked to the following message:
I have been told that I am under consideration to join President Trump’s team as Secretary of State. While my present intention, of course, is to continue to fight for liberty and freedom as a member of the House of Representatives, as a strong supporter of President-Elect Trump’s vision for America, it would be a privilege and an honor to serve as his Secretary of State.
Breitbart News is conducting a poll of potential candidates for Secretary of State. As a supporter of mine who shares values and patriotism, I thought you might want to participate in this poll and am providing you a link to do so HERE
The Rohrabacher Family just had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We wish you a Happy Holiday, Merry Christmas and terrific New Year.
All the Best,
Dana
Rohrabacher has grown his political career by supporting Ronald Reagan in the 60’ for the position of governor of California. He worked in Reagan’s campaign in 1976 and then again in 1980.
The congressman from California was first elected in the U.S. House of Representatives in 1988 and has now reached his 13th term. He was one of the leaders of the initiative to boycott the Beijing Games in 2008 due to human rights violations, according to his own website.
On his web page we can also find the fact that “as a senior member of the International Relations Committee, Rohrabacher led the effort to deny Most Favored Nation trading status to Communist China, citing the rogue nation’s dismal human rights record and opposition to democracy.”
In October, Rohrabacher scolded members of the Republican party who chose to distance themselves from Trump, saying: ” We don’t have to just be concerned about saving House seats. We have to be concerned about saving the United States of America “.
The truth is that Dana Rohrabacher is the only candidate who can create a bridge linking the old-line hawkish foreign policy establishment and the more libertarian views of the Trump campaign. Rohrabacher’s rise in this position would send waves that will shake those who developed a foreign policy establishment that has kowtowed to dictators and despots.
He is perfect for both the Trump administration and for the Republican Party. Let’s hope the new president will make the right decision for this important position because, however, the US security depends on it.
