U.S. Vice President JD Vance warned European allies attending the security conference in Munich, Germany, against “the threat from within,” arguing that European governments are exercising extreme censorship and have failed to adequately get a handle on “out-of-control migration.” (VOAnews)
“What I worry about is the threat from within, the retreat of Europe from some of its most fundamental values,” said Vice President Vance as he criticized a perceived attack on free speech and religious freedom in Europe during his remarks at the Munich Security Conference in Germany. He also took aim at former President Biden and asserted “the prior administration threatened and bullied social media companies to censor so-called misinformation.” Vice President Vance also addressed mass migration in Europe and the war in Ukraine, saying the Trump administration “believes that we can come to a reasonable settlement between Russia and Ukraine.”
