The longest-serving heir to the British throne has quietly expressed his love for his three grandchildren.
In a rare display of affection Prince Charles appeared in a video next to a family portrait from Prince Louis’ christening in July, showing of all three of his grandchildren: Louis (6 months), Princess Charlotte (3 years), and Prince George (5 years). Also appearing on the photo are Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle, who are expecting a baby this spring.
Portrait photographer Matt Holyoak took the photo in the morning room at Clarence House in London, following the little prince’s baptism in Chapel Royal at St James’ Palace.

“This is George’s wood,” Prince Charles said at a press conference about the official Royal family documentary called ‘Prince, Son and Heir: Charles at 70’.
“As I get older, all I really long for is to plant trees. I hope it will be quite amusing for George, as they grow up, and he grows up.”
Duchess of Cornwall Camilla reiterated her husband, Prince Charles’, message about the growth of her grandson, and his newly gifted trees.
“You can’t believe how much it’s grown. It was tiny when it was all planted. The next thing you know, you’re being dwarfed by it,” the Duchess said.
